Mirth, Merriment & Shenanigans for Children of All Ages!
John the Balloon Man was invited to entertain children and families at a fundraiser for Awetism! held at the New Independence Academy in Rosewood, NC, in April.
The event offered a charity auction, as well as game stations with large screen TVs.
John entertained with balloon hats, hearts, flowers, and even an octopus!
The Goldsboro Once Upon A Child store moved in spring, 2016. They wanted to have a party to announce their new location, with more floorspace, and they hired John the Balloon Man to entertain the children who came while their parents shopped.
John had fun keeping the children in hats, and motorcycles, and kitties and puppies, and the occasional Sword and Magic Helmet!
Parents loved the range of clothing and toys that Once Upon a Child carries; not to mention the prices!
The store is on Spence Avenue, in the Crossroads Plaza.
The 2015 Goldston Old Fashion Day opened to light rain that was supposed to stop, but didn’t.

Even thought it was wet, we had fun and look forward to next year’s event!
John the Balloon Man and Karen the Hula Hoop Lady were back at Clydefest 2015 in Bynum Ball Park, celebrating the life and work of Clyde Jones, again this year! It was a beautiful day and everyone had a wonderful time.

We don’t get much chance to stop and take pictures during the actual event, so this is one picture of the entire ballpark as the crowd started to arrive when the gates opened at 11 am.
