Wilbur’s BBQ Birthday Celebration

Wilbur’s BBQ, a fixture in Goldsboro, NC, for 60 years, invited John the Balloon Man to help them celebrate their 60th Birthday on July 16, 2022. They had music and fun and everyone got a balloon animal who wanted one.

Clydefest 2022 saw a cool and grey day on the Bynum Ball Field.

That didn’t stop people from having a good time!

Eggstreme Spring Fling, Pittsboro, NC, 2022

The 2022 outdoor festival season started with the Eggstreme Spring Fling in Pittsboro, NC, at the Central Carolina Community College campus.

It started out to be a beautiful day that never warmed up. People had fun getting out, visiting the booths, hunting eggs, hula hooping, and going home with a balloon animal.

Pittsboro’s Summer Fest 2021

Pittsboro, NC, was able to host Summer Fest in 2021 after missing a year in 2020. John the Balloon Man had a tent and spent the late afternoon making animal balloons for children of all ages. Karen the Hula Hoop Lady had a booth nearby and reminded lots of parents that they could still spin a hoop.

Hoops and Balloons at Abbingdon in Apex

John the Balloon Man & Karen the Hula Hoop lady took hoops and balloons to the spring festival at Abbingdon subdivision, on NC 64 just west of the intersection with 540. The HOA had a party at the pool with burgers and hot dogs. Inside the pool house, volunteers helped people sign up for the summer swim teams, the Abbingdon Alligators.
